Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Tessa Bouwmeester. I’m from the Netherlands, specifically the region Achterhoek & Twente. Painting and drawing have always been my passion. With my ambition to teach workshops and share my knowledge, I hope to inspire others to explore their creativity.

In my daily life, I work as a lecturer and researcher (MSc in the biomedical field at a university of applied sciences. Alongside my work, art has always played an important role in my life.

I create both traditional and digital art. Using my iPad and Apple Pencil, I make colorful digital artworks in Procreate, but I also love working with traditional media such as gouache and acrylic paint. My inspiration comes mainly from nature, which is reflected in my work—expect to see plenty of animals and landscapes in my portfolio.
